Grab your guy and go for a leisurely night walk around the park, lake, or beach.  If you have enough prep time you can turn this into a night scavenger hunt.  Buy a few glow in the dark sticks and hide them with a few items for a picnic, such as a blanket, basket, battery operated candles, an easy book about constellations, etc.  IF you don't have time for that then just pack all of your items in a picnic basket.   Study your constellation book and discover who has the best eye. Whoever can find the big dipper, orion's belt, and the milky way first gets a prize of their choosing!

Our good friend Kimo performed some smooth tunes for us.  He invited a cousin who has a sweet voice that made us sway in our seats.  Kimo Watanabe is part of a group called Rebel Zion.  Check them out, they are awesome!!! 

We have some totally awesome and talented friends that make dates like this incredible!!!  If you don't know anyone who plays an instrument or sings a sweet tune then drag out the radio.  If you want to have a great night then have a bbq before the event.   Enjoy your friends and leave a few dollars for the performers.

Father's Day is right around the corner so do something a little special to celebrate the occasion. Pamper him with love, kisses, and sweet caresses. Pick up a bottle of massage oil, a yummy smelling sugar scrub, and get those hands limbered up for whatever your hubbies heart desires.  Create a romantic ambiance by setting out some candles, warm the room up to a comfortable temperature, and assemble a few pillows to make sure he is comfortable. PS...I sure hope your hubby pampered you for Father's Day cause it's his turn to get delicious paybacks!!!

Zip lining is a fast paced, blood pumping, exhilarating high!  If you haven't tried it, than take a chance and just go for it!  Enjoy every moment because the adventure will be over way too soon and you will wish you could start all over again.  Don't you dare use the excuse that you are too old because there was a lively couple in our zip group celebrating their 40 wedding anniversary!  Trust me, this will be a date you'll want to repeat year after year!  Around this time of the year the zip line companies are opening again for the season and most offer groupon rates.  Sign up for groupon and keep your eye out for all sorts of deals, including zipping.

before we could even think of planting!

Planting a garden is a great adventure to try at least once with your spouse.  Start your garden soon and before you know it you will be eating yummy salads, grilled vegetables, and scrumptious desserts all from your garden.  Be prepared to spend quality time together in your garden all summer long.  Don't be scared, the work is fun when you do it side by side!  If you've never done it, the web is full of useful tips and tricks to help you get started.  If you have planted before you know the benefits of growing your own vegetables and fruits!

This year we started with seeds, because we wanted to be adventurous, lol.  No green sprouts just rows of dirt, which is not as fulfilling as starting with plants.  I'm really, really hoping something grows in our little garden!  Cross your fingers for us!!!

Spring is known for rainy days.  So don't let the rain keep you from having fun together.  Instead grab your rain coats, galoshes, and old jeans.  Go on a walk around your block and jump in every puddle that you see.  End the night with a huge mug of hot chocolate.

Perks:  Swim under the moon and stars, enjoy the fresh air and pretty sights, and get your heart rate up!

Before choosing your night hike, find an easier hike so you don't stumble all over the place in the dark.  If you're lucky you can find some hot springs in your area.  Make sure to pack well by bringing water, snacks, towels, water friendly shoes, dry underthings, and head lamps if needed!   

If you live in Utah a great hike is up Diamond Fork Trailhead in Spanish Fork.  The hike is fairly easy and enjoyable.  The hike totals 3 hours if walking at a leisurely pace.  At this time of the year the green leaves, plants, and wildflowers are so bright and gorgeous. 

Along the side of the trail you are constantly amazed at the beautiful stream that you can see, feel, and hear rushing by. There are mini waterfalls, huge rocks and limbs placed just perfectly in the water.  At certain spots you are walking along side the spring and at others you are overlooking it from the top.  Seriously, so gorgeous!!!  I had to share a few pictures of our hike with you so you could see it for yourself! 

Right past this waterfall are the hot springs.  It was getting too dark for my camera to catch a clear picture of anything beyond this point.  I had some sweet shots of
all the pools!!! I guess you're just going to have to discover them for yourself!

If you go on the weekend be prepared to be swimming with tons of other people.  This is a hot spot for all sorts.  Meeting the people at the springs is kind of an adventure within itself!  There are several pools to choose from all ranging in temperature.  Some are extremely hot and others are very comfortable.  Strip off your clothes and risk skinny dipping or wear your suit.

Invite a group of couples over to make the night a little more fun.  Or just play between the two of you for a spicy version of the game.  Before playing assign each person 4 questions to come up with for the game.  You can also find questions online but the best questions come from your friends!!!  Throw questions into a pile and you are almost ready to play.  Now have each person write down their prize if they win, place them somewhere safe and keep them a secret.  Get a few papers and pens or a couple dry erase boards and markers and now you are ready to play the game.

Ok so seriously, those of you who personally know me, you know that races aren't my thing.  But after hearing about these races from a few of my friends I decided to do a little investigating...To my surprise these races look tough but ridiculously fun, so now I'm tempted to do one of these!!!  Everyone in the pictures looks like they are having the time of their life!  Personally I would choose the tough mudder because it has more obstacle courses and is a little more challenging!  Besides all the racing and stuff, who doesn't like to get all wet outdoors on a nice spring day!   The cherry on top, get to see your girl wrestling in the mud!!!  What guy doesn't want to see that???  So go be a bad A and get tough!!!

Lay out a blanket and pillows on the grass in your yard.  Lay down and enjoy the stars together, maybe even pick out your favorite constellations.  Once the star game gets boring enjoy the moon together, maybe get a little frisky in the moonlight and really enjoy the night!

Go to the park, a kids museum, or a nickel arcade and play around like kids.  Who cares what others think about you.  Just run wild and free!  Once you're all tuckered out, sit down and have a chat, talk about your childhoods, tell each other what you loved as kids and discover new stories about each other.  Leave the adults at home and have a seriously fun night being kids!

Perks: Bask in the sun, and breathe in the clean mountain air, and challenge your mate for a romantic prize.

Get outdoors and take a drive to the mountains or a secluded area where you can play with guns. Spice up your shooting adventure by creating a sex challenge. Before setting up your individual targets each of you write 5-10 sex items on your target. Then determine how many shots each of you get before picking the winner. Rules can be: the items that are shot get to be fulfilled by the loser or whoever gets closer to the bullseye gets to pick one item from the list that they want fulfilled. A sexual competition between the two of you will amp up your game and will leave you both enjoying the rewards!

Last minute date idea comes from my friends Heidi and Robert.   Grab two smoothies, one for you and one for your spouse, on the way home from work.   Place smoothies in the freezer and save for your date.  Take your beach babe on a wet night out.  Go to a tanning salon, a hot tub, sauna, or hot spring and and bring along your smoothies to cool your hot bods off!

At the beginning of spring sometimes you are faced with chilly days but you still want to explore all that's blooming and newly green.  So this makes for a great time to take a lazy drive around town.  Search out a lovely spot to take a drive down a pretty lane, drive up to the mountains, or drive to a local park and take a lazy stroll around.   Take along a snack and relationship conversation questions to make your drive a little more enjoyable.
