Does someone always have to lose? No, of course not! If you create win-
win solutions, then both of you are happy.

Winter Date: DIY Couples Massage
Cost: Free-$20
Perks: Focus on starting the New Year right by treating each other, touch your spouse all over, and make your partner feel yummy and tingly.
The couples massage at the spa is a little pricey, but if you can afford it, go for it. For those of you who are on a tighter budget this is the date night alternative for you. Give each other a massage. Pick up a couples massage book or find a website that teaches you a few tricks. Set the mood by warming the room, warming the oils, and lighting lots and lots of candles or the fireplace, and prepare a comfortable space. Have light romantic treats and a sparkling drink close by. Don't forget to dress up in your lingerie! Take turns being the naughty masseuse for the night. Your massage might not be perfect and it might not be longer then 30 minutes, but you will for sure have a happy ending!
If you have any winter date ideas please share them. Winter lasts for quite a few months and I would love to have a new date idea to share each week so we don't get the winter love blues!!!

When we meet our spouse we love them for their differences. Then we get married and all of a sudden we start criticizing them for those differences we fell in love with. When you find yourself getting frustrated because they are not acting like you or not thinking like you, remember that you are different. Don't try to turn your spouse into you. Instead explain your differences so that you can understand each other. You can have the same goals in mind and yet achieve them in different ways. We are all different and we should celebrate those differences.
Think before you speak. This is hard sometimes. If you put in the effort to monitor what you say you will see a huge difference in the harmony of your relationship.
