Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pudding

Have you been searching for a delicious picnic treat???  If so look no further!!!  Peanut Butter and Chocolate always make any occasion a little sweeter and dreamier!!!  I love summertime because they come with promises for many picnic opportunities with my sweet hubby.  When we go on picnics I like to add a special cute dessert for each of us.  When I stumbled upon this recipe from Bakerella I knew I had found the perfect treat for our romantic picnic dessert!  Of course I made a few changes to the original recipe because I like to kick things up just a bit!  If you love these darling jar labels you can click on the link below recipe to get your copy from Bakerella.

PS.  This recipe makes 4 mini servings.  So eat one on your picnic and save one for later. Trust me you are going to want two all to yourself!!!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pudding

30 vanilla wafers or Nutter Butters (the peanut butter cookies will give it more of a peanut butter kick, which I think is yummy!!!  you could also use half wafers and half Nutter Butters too)
3 Tablespoons melted butter
2 Tablespoons sugar

1- 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
1/3 cup peanut butter, melted

2 – 3.4 oz packages vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
8 oz. container COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed in refrigerator
4 oz cream cheese at room temperature (adding this to your vanilla pudding custard will make it that much better!!!)

Nutter Butters, about 16 broken in small pieces
3 medium bananas
lemon juice (place some juice in a spray bottle for easier use)

4 – 1 pint glass jars with lids (look for cute ones!!!)

Crush the vanilla wafers or Nutter Butters in a food processor or a blender.   Add sugar and melted butter and stir together until a little crumbly (mixture should not be dry, if it is add a little more butter).  Press the crumbs into the bottom of the cute glass jars.

Slice bananas and spray them with lemon juice to help prevent them from turning brown too soon.  Layer the banana cookies over the crust.

Make the pudding by combining pudding mixes with milk and softened cream cheese and beat with a mixer or wire whisk for two minutes.  (tip:  don't use your kitchen aid stand mixer for this because the whipping blade can't reach the bottom of the bowl leaving your cream cheese all clumpy)  Than slowly fold COOL WHIP Whipped Topping into the pudding. Don’t over mix.  Layer the pudding over the bananas.

Melt peanut butter in the microwave until smooth (about 30 seconds). Sprinkle several mini chips over pudding and drizzle melted peanut butter on top of chips.

Layer broken up Nutter Butters over peanut butter.

Create one more layer starting with the bananas, pudding, chips, peanut butter and top with the Nutter Butters pieces.

Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

Notes:  For those of you who might not like something here or there in this recipe, go ahead and change it up to your liking.  This is a versatile recipe you can do anything with it! Add strawberries, eliminate the peanut butter, add more chocolate, use a different cookie, or omit the crust altogether.  Experiment and see what yumminess you can come up with!  If you don't want to mess with the mini containers you can layer this in a pretty trifle dish as well.

14. Touch Him

Chase Him Down

14. Touch Him

Your man wants to know that you want him.  A good way to let him know you want him all over you is by caressing and teasing him in sexy ways.  Walk past him and gently swipe your fingers across his butt.  Mention that you love the way his booty looks in those jeans.  Caress his inner thigh while you are sitting next to each other.  Tell him how you love the feel of those legs around you. Sensual caresses and banter throughout the day will leave him longing for you.

Rushed Romance

14.  Moonlit Walks

Grab your guy and go for a leisurely night walk around the park, lake, or beach.  If you have enough prep time you can turn this into a night scavenger hunt.  Buy a few glow in the dark sticks and hide them with a few items for a picnic, such as a blanket, basket, battery operated candles, an easy book about constellations, etc.  IF you don't have time for that then just pack all of your items in a picnic basket.   Study your constellation book and discover who has the best eye. Whoever can find the big dipper, orion's belt, and the milky way first gets a prize of their choosing!

Bacon Broccoli Ranch Chicken Foil Packets

This is the perfect time of the year to get outdoors, pitch those tents, and start a camp fire.  Just because you're eating over a camp fire doesn't mean you have to eat like a beggar!  Today I'm sharing a recipe that will have the two of you eating in style.  Your spouse, taste buds, and tummies will be impressed!!!

Bacon Broccoli Ranch Chicken Foil Packets
1 package Chicken Flavor Stuffing mix
3/4 cups Water
2 Boneless skinless chicken breast halves
2 cups Broccoli Florets
1/2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese (use more cheese if desired)
4 slices Cooked bacon; crumbled (to make crumbling easier cut bacon into small pieces before cooking)
8 tablespoons Ranch dressing divided
campfire half full of heated coals

Using heavy-duty foil tear 4 large square pieces.  Place two pieces on top of each other.  Spray the top two pieces with olive oil.

Spoon 1/3 of stuffing onto the center of each foil sheet.  Top stuffing with chicken breast half. Place 1 cup broccoli on top of chicken.  Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese (or a few pinches more if desired) and 1/2 of the crumbled bacon.  Drizzle with 4 tablespoons ranch.   Bring up foil sides, fold to seal creating a tent for heat to circulate inside, and place packets on coals.  Bake for 25 minutes and carefully un-tent a small section of foil to let the steam out. Check the chicken to see if it's cooked through.  If not, place back on coals for about 10-15 more minutes.   You can either eat it straight out of the foil or scoot it onto a plate, either way it's just as yummy!!!

If you're not camping and would like to make this delicious meal, follow directions below...

Heat your oven to 400 degrees.

*If you choose to make packets follow these instructions...
Use one layer of tin-foil instead of two.  Fold and tent foils and place packets on cookie sheet.  Bake for 25-30 minutes.  Remove packets from oven and let stand for 5 mins.  Cut slits in foil to allow steam to escape before opening.

*If you choose to place them in a casserole pan follow these instructions....
Spray pan with olive oil.  Layer ingredients as directed above into a pan.  Cover pan with tin foil to allow heat to circulate.  Bake for 30 minutes.  Carefully uncover and bake for 5 more minutes to brown top.  Let stand 5 minutes before opening.

16. Make Everyday Special

Happy Father's Day!!! I hope you have had a great day, that you've been spoiled rotten, and that you've been praised for all your hard work as a good husband and father.

Fight For Your Love

16. Make Everyday Special

This is a repeat challenge from Mother's Day.  I thought it was worth sharing again because it applies to Father's Day or any other special occasion as well.

Father's Day, Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's, Anniversaries and other holidays are times when we find ourselves making an effort to show our spouse how much we truly love and cherish them. We write notes, we buy flowers, we plan for special trips, and we purchase items all in hopes that we express everything we feel in our hearts. You don't need an excuse to celebrate your spouse. These tender expressions of love should be something we do on a daily basis. Don't wait for a special holiday to show your spouse you love, cherish, and enjoy them. Make an effort every day to let them know how special they are and how grateful you are to have them in your life.

Imagine the surprise he will get before he's even opened his package.  Your notes will start his unwrapping off with a bang!

11. Love Basket

This heartfelt idea comes from Somewhat Simple.  Your hubby will be flattered by this gift.  So it's time to get your brag on!  My twist to this is adding in a few naughty notes for your husband to discover.  Not only will he feel proud of all his accomplishments as a Father but he will feel like a stud too!!!

10. Yummy Notes

Alright ladies you have one more day to finish up your last minute gift preparation.  Today I'm sharing 3 quick and easy ideas that will make you look like a champ!

We Heart Daddies

10.  yummy notes

Hello Martha Stewart!!!  Would she cringe at all my sexy twists to her very wholesome daddy gifts??? lol  So my twist would be creating fun retro clip art that has a sexy hint to it.  For instance, the Tabasco Sauce, "You Make me BURN with Yearning."  A box of hot tomales, "I'm hot for you."  Cinnabun rolls, "mmmm, I love your hot buns!"  Get a little creative and you excite your mans tummy and other regions as well!!!

08. iDad

We Heart Daddies

08. iDad

This is the cutest idea for a card ever.   This card tutorial comes from Charlottes Fancy.  Isn't such a fantastic idea???  If your man is a little bit of a phone snob and nerd than this is your dream tutorial.     My twist would be writing sensual notes under each icon.  Maybe even changing a few note slots into surprises to be given throughout the day.  The surprises could be mini cards that are sexy coupons.  You get where I'm going...

07. Wash Me Gift Set

We Heart Daddies

07.   Wash Me Gift Set

Another Martha Stewart idea.  There aer a few more Martha ideas to come.  Maybe I should advertise solely for her! lol.  This idea is just way too cute to pass up.  You're guy might have everything he needs and you might be dying over trying to find an original gift.  If that is you, than this will be perfect.  My twist to this is adding a few bath supplies, a coupons for dirty little things (sexual favors), and some real cleaning products into your tin bucket.  Think of the surprise he will get each time he pulls something out that reminds him that you are a dirty girl and need him to wash you all up!!!

13. Pamper Him

Rushed Romance

13. Pamper Him

Father's Day is right around the corner so do something a little special to celebrate the occasion. Pamper him with love, kisses, and sweet caresses. Pick up a bottle of massage oil, a yummy smelling sugar scrub, and get those hands limbered up for whatever your hubbies heart desires.  Create a romantic ambiance by setting out some candles, warm the room up to a comfortable temperature, and assemble a few pillows to make sure he is comfortable. PS...I sure hope your hubby pampered you for Father's Day cause it's his turn to get delicious paybacks!!!

06. Service Coupons

We Heart Daddies

06.  Service Coupons

Yes, this idea comes from Martha Stewart!  I can't get enough of Martha she has soo many cute ideas!!!   She has templates made up for you to print with some cute coupon ideas to boot! I realize this idea is not very original or unique.  If you take this idea and make the coupons yourself than you're off to a great start that will end up very unique and totally you!  If you add my little twist, this is going to be a one of a kind book.  Martha has one coupon that is blank, I suggest saving that as a picture.  Now follow these simple step by step instructions:

1...Open up word and paste the picture of the blank coupon to your document.
2...Duplicate the page before you start editing.  Make how ever many pages your heart desires.
4...Now it's time to start editing to create your masterpiece.  Add your own pictures of your family and think of things your husband would love help with from you and the kids.
5...Of course this wouldn't be a Tickled in Love twist unless you added in some sexy coupons too.  Find adorable pictures of yourself or of the two of you to paste onto the coupons.  These intimate coupons can be for a private lunch-time nookie, anyway he wants it, a sick day to be pampered any way he likes, or a massage with a happy ending.
6...Before putting your book together, assemble your book by cutting the coupons up to create your book. Have each child write their name on the bottom of the coupon that they will fulfill.  This will make sneaking your own coupons into the book without your kids peaking at them possible.   Mix the coupons up so that he will discover one from a kid then one from you and so on.  Make a cover like Martha suggests or make your own.
Place the cover coupon on top and tie with a cute ribbon.

***If you have any questions about copying and editing, write a comment after this post, either I can help or another lovely follower can give you tips too.

05. Scandalous Photo Bookmarks

We Heart Daddies

05. Scandalous Photo Bookmarks

If your man loves to read, this is the gift for you!!!  This idea comes from Martha Stewart.  She has an easy step by step tutorial for you to follow to make them easily at home.  I love that they are shaped like bow ties and her wrapping style is pretty cute too!!!  My Tickled in Love twist would be hiding bookmarks in a few of his favorite books and placing them in your favorite hiding spots.  Save a few bookmarks to randomly hide every few months, just to keep him on the lookout.  Of course I'm going to tell you to make a fair share of scandalous bookmarks with sexy pictures on them.  But of course you can occasionally add a cute one of yourself and some of your kids too.  Remember your man is looking for something HOT and sweet!!!  This will give him something to look forward to the next time he picks up his favorite book!

37. No More Pajamas!!!

Bedroom Eyes

37.  No More Pajamas

I've mentioned this before and I'm sure to mention it over and over again...It's not ok to let yourself go once you get married!!!  Men and women are equally guilty of this.  Just because you snagged your spouse it doesn't mean they no longer care about what you look like.  They love you for what you are on the inside as well as what you are on the outside.  If you feel it's ok to let yourself go you will find that this is a one-way ticket to problems with your sex life.  If you become aloof and no longer make the effort to be attractive for your spouse, they could become disinterested in having sex with you.  Keep your sex life steamy by maintaining or improving your looks.  So this means no more flannel pajamas in bed! When you slip into bed wear something that she thinks you look sexy in.  To her you could be sexy in her favorite T-shirt that she likes to snuggle up to you in, your tight briefs that show off your bum, or nothing at all!  This advice goes for the wife as well.  Wear what he thinks you look sexy in.  Don't be caught dead going to bed covered up from head to toe. Hopefully this will encourage each of you to put some imagination into your sleepwear!

04. Stop the Press

We Heart Daddies

04. Stop the Press

This is another roll back from Mother's Day.  I loved this idea by Martha Stewart and thought it would be fitting for your hubby too!  I think making a newspaper for your hubby is just plain adorable and will make his day!!!  This will be as fun for you to fill out as it will be for your kids.  Since Martha didn't make one of these for Father's Day you will have to create a page for each kid to fill out and a big girl page for you to fill out.  This is very easy to do with word since they have newsletter templates already created for you. Pick the template you like and get to work. Maybe copy the template idea from Martha Stewart and use some of her section ideas but give it a big girl twist. For the picture section draw an activity that you enjoy with your hubby.  For the story section think of something a little spicy to write about. Make your hubby feel loved, sexy, and amazing all at the same time.  For the checklist section find words you admire about him as a husband, lover, and father. Glue all your pages together, fold it up like a newspaper, and slip it into one of those red plastic bags that real newspapers come in.  When you make his breakfast in bed place this on his tray. This will be a paper he won't be able to put down and he will treasure this forever!!!

03. Father's Day Questionnaire

We Heart Daddies

3.  Father's Day Questionnaire

Remember this idea from Mother's Day?   We can't do this one for the moms and not for the dads!  The Mother's Day Questionairre was a huge hit for the Crafting Chicks so they made one for the Father's as well. My little twist to this is changing "dad" for "husband". Also change a few of these questions making it fitting for a wife to fill out for her husband. Question ideas...

* start off each sentence with...I love my husband because...
* Mention sensual & romantic things about your husband

Be a little creative and you can really make your husband feel extra special with your "All about my Husband" questionnaire.

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip-Bacon Cookies

Does your man love bacon?  If so this pretty cookie filled to the brim with yumminess is just what he wants for Father's Day.  Don't be scared by the thought of bacon in a cookie!!! It's surprisingly delicious!  Your hubby will love the sweet and salty combo.  I've made these for Father's Day on several occasions and everyone that has one goes back for seconds.   This Father's Day win the love of your man's stomach as well as his heart!  This recipe is definately a keeper!

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip-Bacon Cookies
by Tickled In Love

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Pinch of chipotle or ancho chile powder
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
8 strips bacon thick cut double smoked bacon (good bacon is the key to the this recipe)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup roughly chopped honey- roasted peanuts
1/3 cup bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, chile powder and salt in a large bowl.

Cut the bacon into uniform pieces.  Then cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate; reserve 2 tablespoons of the drippings and set aside to cool. Crumble the bacon, discarding any chewy bits.

Beat the butter and reserved bacon drippings in a large bowl with a mixer on medium-high speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Beat in the peanut butter until combined, about 1 minute. Beat in the granulated and light brown sugar until creamy, about 4 minutes, then add the egg and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy, about 2 more minutes.

Reduce the mixer speed to low; add the flour mixture in 2 additions, scraping down the bowl as needed, until just combined. Stir in the peanuts and all but 2 tablespoons each of the chocolate chips and bacon.

Form the dough into 12 balls and arrange 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Flatten with your fingers (the cookies will not spread in the oven); press the reserved bacon and chocolate chips on top. Bake until golden, 12 to 14 minutes. Let the cookies cool 2 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to a rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

***NOTE:   because of the bacon, the cookies don't keep as long as regular chocolate chip cookies; the bacon starts to taste a little gamey after a few days. Luckily, they never last that long, which might be why the recipe only makes 12 cookies.  If you have more people to feed make the balls into about 1 1/4 inch, making around 18 balls and pat them down to even size and height, so they bake evenly.

Who's your daddy??? Idea 1. and 2.

It's time to celebrate our favorite Daddy's!!!

Throughout the week I will be sharing cute Father's Day ideas from other sites and putting a little love twist to them.   Beware, your man is going to love you and want you this Father's Day!!!  Your man will soon be asking, "Who's your Daddy???"

We Heart Daddy's:

1.  I love my My Man from How Does She

This is a great tutorial to help make this gift easier for you.  My twist would be changing up the saying from "We love daddy" to "I love My Man."  This will be a sexy little gift to only be displayed in the bedroom.  Place scandalous pictures of you on the clips.  Maybe a few naughty notes.  Throughout the year continually change out the pictures and notes.

2.  Hate Ironing from How Does She

This is an incredible idea because it makes slackers who hate ironing, like myself, look very creative and thoughtful!  My twist to this is bundling up only a couple of shirts at a time.  Tie each bundle with a hot and steamy note, a sexy coupon, or a naughty picture of yourself possibly wearing one of the shirts or only a tie.   Leave each bundle in a not so easy to find location.

12. Get Into Bed

Chase Him Down

12.  Get Into Bed

Pretend that you are sleepy and ready for bed.  Ask him to tuck you in with a snuggle or two.  When he climbs in ask if he is tired.  If he says no, ask if you could borrow him for a few minutes.  Get handsy and let him know what you want.
