are you listening???
Do you ever find yourself talking and while in the midst of talking think, "Are they listening to me?" If they are watching TV, or have their nose in a book, or if they are cooking, then chances are they aren't listening. What about those times when they are looking right at you and you still feel like they aren't listening. What is making you feel unheard???

So most people would say they don't feel heard because they don't receive validation of their feelings. So next time you are chatting with your spouse, really listen to what they are saying, give feedback, and validate their feelings. xox
